You are not a number on a scale. It explains very little about what’s going on inside your body. The most important part is your body composition.

  • How much fat do you really have?
  • How much of that weight is going to your muscle mass?
  • How much of that weight is going is going to your bones?

And if you’re losing weight, are you losing good weight? Are you losing muscle? Are you losing fat? Are you losing water? What’s happening?

There are a lot of weight loss supplements that are just a diuretic. And, they are just going to dehydrate your body. You might think you are losing weight but, you’re really not getting any healthier. In fact, your fat content is probably going up.

You can be starving yourself and running an hour on the treadmill everyday but if you lose one pound of fat and six pounds of muscle, you are in the wrong way.

It’s the muscle that actually stimulates your body to burn fat. That’s why part of the 30-day challenge is not how much you weigh. It’s your body composition. That’s what we want to see change. And, that’s what everything is based upon.
