What if your body is aging faster than your birthday says it should? In this workshop, Dr. Tim explains how to measure your biological age, why metabolic dysfunction is so common, and what practical steps can help slow or even reverse accelerated aging. You’ll learn how exercise, nutrition, supplements, and chiropractic care work together to improve metabolism, reduce inflammation, and support long-term health freedom.

Here’s the gist of what was taught in the video…

Why Biological Age Matters More Than Chronological Age

Your body may be older than you think

Biological age reflects how your body is actually aging on the inside based on your current lifestyle. The goal is for that number to be lower than your chronological age.

Dr. Tim shared that many people score six to twelve years older than their actual age. The encouraging part is that this number can change when you change the way you live.

A real example of change

One patient came in overweight, in chronic pain, dealing with digestive issues, hormone imbalance, and years of frustration. After following a specific plan through chiropractic care, nutrition support, and a metabolic reset system, she lost nearly 40 pounds in six months, dropped 9% body fat, and shifted from biologically older than her actual age to significantly younger.

The point of the story is simple: these results are not rare when someone follows a clear system consistently.

The Real Problem: Metabolic Dysfunction

Why are so many people struggling?

Dr. Tim explained that metabolic dysfunction is behind many of the most common health issues people face today. That includes weight gain, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid issues, hormone imbalance, chronic pain, and more.

He emphasized that these conditions are not just random bad luck. They are often the result of repeated daily choices that either build health or build disease.

The medical model versus the health model

The workshop contrasted two paths. One path waits for symptoms, seeks a diagnosis, and manages disease with medications, injections, or surgery. The other path focuses on building health before breakdown happens.

That second path is what he called health freedom. It means making choices now that support strength, energy, resilience, and independence later in life.

What Health Freedom Looks Like

Think beyond today

A major theme in the workshop was to define what health freedom looks like at 70, 80, or 90. Do you want to hike, travel, exercise, and stay independent, or simply survive with increasing limitations?

Dr. Tim made the point that you do not arrive at 80 and hope for the best. The choices you make now determine what that future looks like.

Hard now or hard later

He also challenged the idea that healthy habits are too hard. Going for a walk, preparing better food, getting enough sleep, and sticking with a plan can feel inconvenient.

But being sick is harder. Living in pain, needing multiple medications, losing mobility, and watching quality of life decline is far harder.

Exercise Is the Real Miracle Drug

Why movement changes everything

Regular exercise improves metabolism, protects the heart and brain, and lowers the risk of early death. Dr. Tim noted that even 90 minutes of exercise a week can reduce all-cause mortality, and 150 minutes a week can significantly reduce the risk of heart disease and Alzheimer’s.

That is a small time investment with a major return.

Not all exercise works the same way

He emphasized that higher-intensity exercise produces a stronger anabolic response. In simple terms, that means more growth hormone and testosterone, better fat burning, improved blood sugar regulation, and healthier metabolism.

Long, slow exercise has benefits, but the workshop focused on challenging your body enough to get out of the comfort zone. That does not mean starting at an extreme level. It means building toward exercise that raises your heart rate and makes conversation more difficult.

Nutrition Can Speed Up Aging or Slow It Down

The standard American diet is accelerating disease

Dr. Tim pointed directly to processed and ultra-processed food as a major cause of inflammation, metabolic disease, and accelerated aging. Even a small increase in ultra-processed foods raises health risk.

He warned specifically against fried foods, packaged foods, GMOs, artificial colors, and artificial sweeteners.

Learn to read labels

One of the most practical teaching points was to stop trusting the front of the package and start reading the ingredient list. Many foods marketed as healthy still contain canola oil, soybean oil, sugar, modified starches, and other inflammatory ingredients.

The back label tells the truth.

The advanced plan

For anyone trying to lower biological age, lose weight, reduce inflammation, or reverse a chronic issue, Dr. Tim recommended the advanced nutrition plan. This removes many of the common inflammatory stressors, including sugars and most carbohydrates, while focusing on healthy fats, natural proteins, and low-sugar fruits like berries.

He framed this as a healing plan rather than a forever plan. It is designed to reset the system and support better metabolic function.

Protein and Healthy Fats Are Essential

Why protein matters more with age

The workshop stressed that inadequate protein intake accelerates muscle loss, and loss of muscle mass speeds up aging. It also contributes to brain decline and poor metabolic health.

Dr. Tim recommended that most people aim for at least half their body weight in grams of protein per day, while focusing on cleaner, healthier protein sources.

Not all fats are bad

Processed fats and oils were presented as harmful, while natural fats like wild-caught salmon, avocado, coconut oil, and olive oil were presented as supportive. These help with hormones, cell membranes, inflammation, and energy production.

Why Weight Loss Gets Harder

Leptin resistance changes the game

A key hormone discussed in the workshop was leptin. Leptin helps signal the brain to burn fat instead of store it.

As inflammation and fat storage increase, the body can become resistant to leptin. That means more cravings, more overeating, more fat storage, and greater difficulty losing weight, even when someone feels like they are trying.

Why a real reset is needed

Dr. Tim explained that this cycle is not broken by a few small changes. It usually takes a more significant lifestyle intervention to disrupt the pattern.

That was the purpose behind the ChiroThin protocol discussed in the workshop. It was presented as a structured metabolic reset using very specific food guidelines, two meals per day, low-glycemic foods, and accountability to help people stay disciplined long enough to see real change.

The Foundational Three Supplements

Supporting the major systems of health

The workshop also highlighted the Foundational Three supplement bundle: inflammation and immune support, cellular health and longevity, and digestion and detox. Dr. Tim described this as a daily support system for the major stressors most people face.

He emphasized that these products help support the immune system, reduce inflammation, protect cells from oxidative stress, and improve gut and detox function.

Chiropractic Care and the Aging Process

Your nervous system controls adaptation

Dr. Tim made it very clear that chiropractic is not just about back pain. It is about how the nervous system communicates, adapts, and regulates the body.

He explained that spinal stress and subluxation can affect the body all the way down to the genetic level. Getting adjusted supports better stress adaptation, better neurological function, and healthier aging.

You only feel 10%

One of the strongest points in the workshop was that people only feel about 10% of what is going on in the nervous system. That means waiting for pain or obvious symptoms is not a reliable way to measure health.

Corrective chiropractic care supports the 90% you do not feel, which includes how the body adapts to stress, how it regulates metabolism, and how it maintains long-term function.

Know Your Numbers and Build Your Plan

Health gets easier when you measure it

The workshop encouraged people to know their numbers, including biological age, body fat percentage, basal metabolic rate, and other markers of progress. Measuring these gives you something objective to improve.

Dr. Tim also described a Five Essentials consult and scan process to help people understand where they are and what kind of plan best fits their goals. If you want current pricing or availability for a consult, contact the front desk.

Build the Life Your Future Self Will Thank You For

Lowering your biological age is not about one quick fix. It is about consistently building the habits that support metabolism, strength, nervous system health, and resilience. When you move your body, clean up your food, support your metabolism, and stay engaged with a real plan, your body can age more slowly and function more fully.

That is what health freedom looks like: not just living longer, but living better.
