One of the most important nutrients that you can get that doesn’t necessarily come from food is vitamin D. Vitamin D comes from the sun so if the sun is shining, get out in the sun while you can. Get some safe sun exposure to your body because Vitamin D is one of the most powerful immune boosting nutrients you can ever get.

If you’re going to eat or supplement with vitamin D, you have got to make sure it’s coming from a food source. You have to make sure it’s vitamin D3 and that you’re taking it with fats because vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin.

Don’t just buy the cheapest Vitamin D, get one that works. We have a very high-quality vitamin D with probiotics here in the office. If you have something you use that’s working great. Some other things you want to add to your diet is fermented foods. Things like sauerkraut or kimchi are very high in probiotics which helps with gut health and is going to improve your digestive health and immune system.

Garlic is amazing for your immune health to eat and to supplement with.

Coconut oil is the most powerful multi-use oil that you can put on your skin, you can put in your shakes, you can put in your drinks, you can cook with it… you can do everything with coconut oil. It’s amazing and it’s one of the most powerful immune boosting super foods and one of the good fats that your body needs to stay really strong.

Finally, make sure you’re getting a lot of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables on a regular basis because that’s where you get your antioxidants and your cellular health and it’s really what your body craves. They have tons of nutrients and the more raw you eat them, the better.

As you start adding some of these immune superfoods in as part of your daily diet, you’re going to see that your immune system will get stronger.
